Mangaiyar Products has opted for a ethinco-geographic name for plugging their rice-mixes and pickles - Mambalam Iyers. The Kazhagam types may not approve of this name. But somehow we think, this will connect with the masses just the way Bangalore Iyengar Bakery did in the eighties. Good choice. Mylapore Mamas next on the anvil?
