Short form for Botulinum Toxin, Botox has the therapeutic ability to treat crossed eye, muscle spasms, migraine, cerebral palsy and underarm sweating. Fixing frown lines and delivering wrinkle-free skin were serendipitous side effects, discovered much later. As on date, Allergan Inc owns the trademark for Botox. Suspiciously sounding like buttocks, Botox, is acoustically un-elegant. But ironically, has become the holy grail of cosmetically enhanced beauty.
