Name of the Day: Tashi Shoes

In a world of Mochis and Koblerrs, Tashi is definitely a clutter breaker. Reminded me of a batchmate of mine named Tashi Bashi. Google tells us that Tashi could be a tibetan word meaning 'good fortune'. So one might be tempted to assume Tashi to be an East Asian brand. Turns out, it's a Tata brand. And Tashi happens to be a compound of TAta & ASHI (japanese for foot). The name was a replacement for the floundering 'Stryde'. In my view, that was an ingenious move as Tashi certainly has more legs.
